Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care through thorough cleanings, patient education, and maintaining a comfortable environment. This role requires a professional with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for promoting oral health. Bilingual skills and experience with patients are highly valued to ensure comprehensive care for our diverse patient community.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth and removing plaque and tartar
- Take radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist in identifying dental issues and communicating findings to the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring sterilization and infection control protocols are followed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care instructions for patients
Experience
- Previous dental hygiene experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome
- Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental management software is highly desirable
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
