Roxor requires an energetic, motivated and career-minded Construction Project Manager responsible for the execution of all Pre-construction and construction activities, ensuring consistently high standards and efficiency.
Job Duties
Create and execute work breakdown structure.
Prepare and send out bid documents.
Analyze bids and make recommendations.
Ensure proper plans and documentation control as well as flow.
Supervise and Coordinate the Shop Drawing Process.
Prepare site documentation.
Prepare and monitor project schedule.
Perform routine visits to site to monitor work advancement against schedule.
Monitor and actively participate in managing cash flow and receivables.
Oversee, navigate and resolve conflict disputes within the project.
Report on each subcontractor’s advancement and percentages of work complete.
Review with Foreman manpower requirements.
Coordinate with Administrator & Foreman to ensure that deliveries are expedited.
Coordinate work of sub-trades Coordinate changes to the contract including communication with foreman and ensure documentation updates.
Review with Foreman to ensure required site deliveries are met.
Chair and conduct site meetings and capture necessary information. Prepare minutes.
Coordinate and ensure submittal of project closeout documentation
Ensure all objectives are reached to achieve contract completion and final acceptance certificates.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in related field is preferred however Technical Construction management certificate or similar experience is required. Facility with reading and interpreting construction plans. Facility with measurements, quantity take offs, volume calculations etc Bilingual (English and French both written and spoken) Strong communication and problem solving skills Ability to work independently in a busy environment. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software (e.g. Excel, Word, MS Project, etc.) and email. Strong Construction knowledge is a must. Must be highly experienced in condo construction.
Work Conditions
Travel to the site, and off-site locations will be required.
