We are a tutoring centre in the heart of Kerrisdale looking for experienced and qualified English Tutors to teach G8-12 students.
Teaching Academic English: Reading, Grammar, Essay Writing, and Literature for G8-12
Asset: Knowledge of Short Stories, Novel Study, Shakespeare, Strong Writing Skills / SSAT English, SAT English / IELTS, TOEFL
All instructions are done at our centre (in-person).
We provide very consistent and flexible scheduling between the hours of operation:
Teaching Class Hours (Sep ~ next Jun): Mondays to Fridays 3:30pm-9:20pm & Saturdays 9:30am-5:40pm. (can choose which days and time slots to teach within these time ranges)
Qualifications and Skills
-Educated or studied in Canada, US, or an English-speaking school
-English or Humanities major preferred (not mandatory)
-Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
-A passion for helping students achieve their greatest potential
