We are a small family run lawn and garden company serving Etobicoke and Liberty village, Toronto areas. We are looking for an individual that has their G license and at least 2-3 years in the lawn and garden sector.
Requirements:
- Must have valid and clean drivers abstract
- Must have 2+ years of landscaping / lawn care experience
- Must feel comfortable driving a truck ,and possibly a trailer, through the city of Toronto (for future driving opportunities within the company)
- Must know how to use basic lawn care tools (hedge trimmer, lawn mowers, blowers, etc)
-***Must know how to operate and be skilled with a line trimmer*** (priority)
- Must understand plant material and know how to prune / trim when needed
-Must be okay with working a 40-50hr work week (7am/8am-5pm, Mon-Fri)
-Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Job duties (including, but not limited to): Lawn cutting (push mower and riding mower), line trimming, blowing soft/hard surfaces, hedge trimming, cultivating/edging garden beds, raking, pruning shrubs/bushes/plant material, mulching, planting flowers, seeding, sodding, occasional interlock repair/install, etc.
Wage is $22-$26/hr, depending on experience, paid bi-weekly. All employees will be loaned branded company clothing for the duration of their employment. Opportunity for a snow removal role may be available at the end of our Summer/Fall season (not mandatory).
