Job Summary
We are seeking two dynamic and energetic Budtenders to join our vibrant team, one Budtender for our Mississauga location and one for our Etobicoke location. As a key ambassador for our dispensary, you will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients about various cannabis products, and ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will help guide customers in making informed choices while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties hi
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting suitable cannabis products based on their needs and preferences
- Educate clients on product effects, proper usage, and safety guidelines to promote responsible consumption
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal
- Perform heavy lifting when restocking shelves or handling inventory shipments safely and efficiently
- Uphold strict compliance with state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and upselling products to maximize sales opportunities
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel for record keeping and reporting
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are highly valued
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or hospitality environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate POS systems and perform computer operations with ease
- Capable of performing basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Skilled in organizational tasks such as filing, merchandising, and time management to ensure smooth daily operations
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining professionalism
- Multilingual capabilities that facilitate effective communication with diverse clientele
- Willingness to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting as needed to support store operations
