Oxford Learning - North Vancouver is looking for upbeat and dynamic teachers who have experience teaching a variety of subjects, such as English, French, and math, to Elementary/High school students and want to work in a rewarding teaching environment.
Our individualized programs offer support for students looking to improve their academic and study skills in English, French and math. Our class sizes are small with a maximum of three students per teacher. We provide all of the curriculum and rely on our teachers to interpret, explain, and guide our students to understanding and connecting with the material.
Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following skills:
✓ University degree (or working towards)
✓ Written and oral communication skills in fluent, English and French
✓ Experience with students Grades K-12 in a teaching/tutoring environment
✓ BC teaching certificate an asset but not mandatory.
✓ Dynamic, energetic and outgoing personality
✓ Highly organized and able to multitask
✓ Ability and willingness to teach multiple subjects is an asset
✓ Schedule flexibility and availability on a minimum of 2 days a week: Mondays through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
