Early Childhood Educator (ECE) – Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
Genuine Academy is seeking caring, passionate, and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to join our team.
Genuine Academy is a Christian-based early learning centre that provides a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow with confidence, creativity, and curiosity.
Our educational approach combines the Reggio Emilia Approach and the ORDA Educational Program from Israel, creating a unique learning experience that encourages children’s creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and holistic development.
Through the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we value children as capable learners and support their ideas, interests, exploration, and self-expression.
Through the ORDA educational program, children develop cognitive skills, logical thinking, concentration, and creativity through hands-on learning materials and meaningful play experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, caring, and positive learning environment for children
- Support children’s learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences
- Implement activities inspired by Reggio Emilia and ORDA educational approaches
- Observe and document children’s development and learning
- Encourage children’s creativity, independence, and confidence
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Follow childcare licensing requirements and health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate recognized in British Columbia
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Experience working with young children is an asset
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
Position Details:
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Approximately 20–40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications
