Interhabs and Modern Modular Homes are growing, and we’re looking for a hardworking, reliable carpenter to join our on-site crew.
We build high-quality panelized and modular-style homes across Nova Scotia but mainly in HRM and on the South Shore. Our homes are manufactured in our facility and assembled on site using a fast, efficient building process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a solid crew building modern homes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Framing and assembling panelized homes on site
- Installing exterior siding and trim
- Roof framing and sheathing
- Window and door installation
- General carpentry and finishing tasks
- Working with cranes, telehandlers, and other site equipment alongside the crew
- Keeping sites organized, safe, and moving efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in residential construction or carpentry
- Comfortable using power tools and reading plans
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Framing or siding experience considered a strong asset
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with panelized or modular construction
- Equipment operation experience
- Fall arrest, lift, or safety certifications
- Finish carpentry experience

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
