OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Partnerships & Strategy Manager – Youth and Student Segments with a strong background in strategic partnerships, business development, customer acquisition, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of high-impact campus and non-campus partnership programs designed to drive growth, engagement, and long-term value across youth, domestic student, international student, and newcomer segments.
This role will work closely with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Branch teams to deliver scalable partnership initiatives, sponsorship programs, and customer acquisition campaigns that support business objectives and strengthen market presence.
This position is ideal for a relationship-driven, strategic professional who excels at building partnerships, influencing stakeholders, developing business cases, and managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Length: 24+ Months (Extension Possible)
Pay: T4 $43 / IC $50

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with post-secondary institutions, student associations, international student offices, youth-focused organizations, and other ecosystem partners.
- Design and execute customer acquisition and engagement programs across campus and non-campus channels in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Lead partnership initiatives aligned to key customer lifecycle moments including admissions, student arrival, back-to-school periods, and early career transitions.
- Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities, co-branded initiatives, and scalable partnership programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Branch teams to ensure partnership initiatives are effectively executed and aligned with organizational standards.
- Identify and evaluate emerging partnership opportunities, community ecosystems, and growth channels to expand market reach.
- Analyze partnership performance, customer acquisition metrics, onboarding effectiveness, and retention outcomes to optimize program results.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to strengthen partnership strategies and customer positioning.
- Prepare and present partnership proposals, business cases, strategic recommendations, and executive-level presentations.
- Manage partner onboarding activities, sponsorship payments, budget tracking, and expense management processes.
- Lead campaign execution targeting post-secondary student audiences while effectively engaging senior stakeholders and presenting compelling recommendations through visual storytelling and presentation materials.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks, and governance requirements throughout the partnership lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of progressive experience in partnerships, strategy, business development, consulting, customer growth, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success building and managing external partnerships that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and business growth.
- Experience developing strategic programs, sponsorship initiatives, and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Strong understanding of youth, student, newcomer, or customer growth segments, including the differing needs of domestic and international students.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience developing business cases, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated sound judgment with a strong focus on risk awareness and compliance considerations.
Preferred
- Experience working with post-secondary institutions, student associations, youth-focused organizations, or community partners.
- Background in banking, financial services, customer acquisition, marketing, or growth-focused environments.
- Experience managing sponsorship programs and partnership marketing initiatives.
- Knowledge of customer lifecycle management, onboarding strategies, and retention programs.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries.
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation development tools.
EDUCATION
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, Strategy, or a related discipline.
