Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily custodial operations within our commercial cleaning services. The ideal candidate will lead a team of cleaning staff, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This role is vital in delivering exceptional cleanliness and customer satisfaction across various client locations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of custodial staff to ensure efficient cleaning operations
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to team members based on workload and priorities
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, reordering as necessary
- Address any issues or complaints from clients promptly and professionally
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, staff attendance, and safety incidents
Requirements
- Proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience, with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a cleaning or facilities management setting preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices for commercial environments
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
