Requirements:
- Experience in all areas of hairstyling including cutting, colouring, highlighting, and updos
- Skilled in both men’s and women’s hair design and styling
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team environment

Duties
- Perform various hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide professional recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products suited to clients’ needs
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Foster strong communication with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and positive reviews
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations
- Proven experience in hair styling, including cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Strong communication skills to effectively listen and advise clients on their desired looks
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon setting
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client satisfaction and sales goals
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not mandatory
- Professional appearance and positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
