Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Junior <PERSON> to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely service and quality standards.
- Support supervising staff in managing daily kitchen activities and team coordination.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Contribute to menu execution by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating during service.
- Support restaurant management in ensuring efficient service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in food safety training and uphold all health standards within the kitchen environment.
- Serve as a positive team member, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among staff members.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards is essential.
- Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant setting is required.
- Demonstrated understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior serving or hospitality experience is advantageous.
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
