Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a full-time Work Integrated Learning Officer position for a term commencing July 15, 2026 and ending December 15, 2027. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Support Staff, Level 10: $2,452.80 biweekly plus a comprehensive benefits plan.

Duties: Provide essential coordination and operational support to Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) throughout the College and related community initiatives. Ensure the smooth delivery of WIL activities, supports communication with students and partners, and help maintain efficient processes and documentation.
Key components of the role may include, but are not limited to:

Organize logistics for WIL activities, including workshops, career fairs, employer events, and student placements; maintain schedules, track key dates, and support project timelines
- Assist with onboarding processes for students participating in WIL experiences, including Work Experience Placement Agreements and program-specific forms

Serve as a point of contact for student and employer inquiries, directing questions as appropriate

Establish and maintain regular contact and conduct extensive networking with industry employers and representatives, and other specialized interest groups

Promote College training capabilities and the value of hiring college vocational program graduates to industry to assist in securing qualified employees

Maintain accurate records of student participation, employer partnerships, and program activities

Prepare documents such as agreements, forms, and templates, including student placement documents and employer communications

Support report preparation and data tracking for program evaluation and funding requirements
- Research, compile, and distribute employment resource guides for students that include job search websites and bulletins for various sectoral industries, particularly major projects

Seek out and inform students of potential job leads and job postings, assisting students to secure positions
