$29.00/hour to start, $30.00/hour after probation, Paid training, Flexible schedule, Mileage reimbursement, 4% in lieu of vacation, upon completion of probation 10% in lieu of benefits

Meet the Person You'll Be Supporting
Our son is an intelligent, funny, non-speaking autistic adult with a great sense of humour and a real curiosity about the world around him.
He loves:
- Cars, trucks, engines, and machinery
- Trains and construction sites
- Swimming, boating, and pitch & putt
- Baseball games
- Movies and music
- Exploring new places
- Going out for coffee or meals
- Spending time with people who genuinely enjoy being with him
He communicates differently, but he has plenty to say. One of the most rewarding parts of this role is taking the time to learn how he communicates and discovering the incredible person behind the words.
We don't expect you to change who he is. We hope you'll take the time to discover who he is.
Who You'll Be
We're not looking for someone who's perfect.
We're looking for someone who is:

- Curious and always interested in learning something new.
- Comfortable talking with people, not around them.

- Someone who values people for who they are.
Experience understanding autistic people is wonderful, but it isn't the most important qualification. The most important thing is that you genuinely enjoy people and are excited about building a meaningful relationship.

Pay: $29.00-$30.00 per hour
