Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting clients safely and efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining vehicle safety standards. This role requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations. The Driver will play a crucial role in providing safe transportation while fostering positive interactions with passengers.
Responsibilities
- Answer on- call transport
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including passenger vans and commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport clients, including children, or individuals requiring special assistance, to designated locations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, exiting, and any special needs
- Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the vehicle before and after trips
- Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a comfortable experience
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Follow all company policies related to safety, confidentiality, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid drivers abstract
- Vulnerable sector check
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse passenger groups
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and patience
- Ability to follow directions accurately and maintain punctuality
- Excellent writing skills for documentation purposes
