OEB is looking for a Line Cook, who can assist with the cooking at the #1 Brunch place in the city. You will assist the Head Chef and the Sous Chef with the daily operations of the kitchen. The right candidate should exhibit a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and bring a positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities:
- To be in full uniform and ready to go 5 minutes before each shift.
- Leadership role having been trained in all kitchen positions and equipment.
- Assist with training new employees for positions in the kitchen/dish area.
- Food quality control and productivity.
- Daily food preparations/setting their stations.
- Safety and sanitation in the workplace, proper food handling, and storage.
- Continually cleaning up their stations throughout the day.
- Closing day end cleaning of equipment and stations worked on.
- Ensured that all positions have cleaned up after themselves and all equipment is off.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Working time: 5 days a week in the mornings only, Must Have OPEN Availability and AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS
- In charge of kitchen daily prep and service
- In charge of multiple stations and daily preparation
- Maintaining the quality of each dish
