Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist in developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental management software
- Ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Proficiency with dental management software
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient population but not necessary
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on patient care and comfort
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently when needed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
