About the Role
Centaur Ribbons is one of North America's leading makers of hand-crafted ribbons and rosettes.
We're looking for a hands-on, mechanically curious person to join our Printing team: the department where every order begins.
We're on a mission to recognize 1 billion people, pets, and organizations across the world. Every ribbon you print is a small but meaningful part of that.
Before You Apply
This is an early morning shift position. You will be working from 06:00AM to 2:30PM. Please apply only if you are available to work with this schedule.
Starting wage is $18.25 per hour. Compensation increases with experience. We welcome all applicants, with or without experience. Comprehensive training is provided.
What You'll Do
- Read production sheets and select ribbon colors and sizes to match specifications
- Cut ribbon to the correct length
- Run the Ludlow, our hot metal typesetting machine, to cast letter slugs
- Operate our Hot Foil Stamping Machine to print text and logos onto ribbon
- Check every print for quality: clean, sharp, and correct
Who You Are
- Comfortable working with machines, and curious about how they work
- Enjoy hands-on work where you can see the result of what you made
- Detail-oriented — you catch small errors before they become big ones
- Consistent and methodical — you do things the same way, every time
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to read and spell-check production sheets accurately
- Background in printing, machining, trades, or hands-on technical work — helpful, not required. We'll train you.
About our Centaur Ribbon team
Our ribbon division is a team of wonderfully talented, passionate women who take real pride in every rosette that leaves this building. There's a lot of laughter, a lot of skill, and a genuine love for the craft. We're part of the Coronation Recognition Group family, nearly 50 people strong.
