Diversified Staffing Services, a leading Staffing Agency in Alberta, is currently seeking Post-Construction Cleaners to help our clients in Canmore. In this role, you will transform newly built or renovated residential and commercial properties into spotless, move-in-ready environments. Your primary focus will be removing heavy dust, construction debris, and other materials left behind by building crews.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to the following:
- Debris Disposal: Collect and properly discard construction waste, including drywall scraps, wood pieces, nails, and packaging materials.
- Intensive Dusting: Vacuum and wipe down all vertical and horizontal surfaces, including high ceilings, walls, baseboards, and ledges.
- Fixture Detailing: Clean and polish light fixtures, ceiling fans, vents, switches, door handles, and outlets
- Window & Glass Cleaning: Scrub windows, mirrors, and glass partitions to remove paint spatters, dirt, etc.
- Floor Restoration: Sweep, heavy-duty vacuum, mop, and buff various floor types;
- Appliance Prep: Clean the interior and exterior of newly installed cabinets, drawers, sinks, and kitchen/bathroom appliances.
- Sanitization: Disinfect washrooms and high-touch areas thoroughly
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in post-construction cleaning, commercial janitorial work, or industrial deep cleaning is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive heavy manual labour for extended shifts.
- Lifting Capacity: Ability to safely lift and carry equipment or debris weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for finding dust, smudges, and paint overspray in hidden or hard-to-reach places.
- Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like masks, hard hats, and steel-toe boots.
- Reliable transportation

- Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on project completion deadlines.
