Chachi’s Sandwiches at Departure Bay Ferry Terminal is hiring a reliable Food Service Attendant.
Duties
- Open or close the store, complete opening or closing procedures, and prepare the service line for the day or next.
- Prepare and serve food items according to Chachi’s recipes and standards
- Follow all food‑handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Assist customers with orders and provide friendly, efficient service
- Operate the POS system accurately and handle transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, prep areas, and equipment
- Restock ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth operations
- Support the team during peak periods once the terminal gets busy
Qualifications
- Strong food‑handling and preparation skills
- Friendly, customer‑focused attitude
- Good time‑management and ability to work independently during opening
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced QSR environment
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
