About the Role
Fibertech Canada is seeking a motivated and hands-on Repair Technician to
join our team. In this role, you will specialize in the repair, sharpening,
and refurbishment of professional medical instruments for hospitals and
healthcare facilities across Canada. This is a skilled trade position with
real long-term growth opportunities for the right candidate — full training
is provided.
Responsibilities
- Sharpen and repair a wide variety of medical and surgical instruments
- Powder coat medical instruments
- Refurbish and restore instruments to a professional standard
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Work collaboratively with the team on daily production and workflow
- Perform additional shop duties as required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with machinery, hand tools, or a hands-on trade is a strong
- asset
- Comfortable working with precision equipment and fine detail work
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent — this trade rewards dedication
- Willingness to learn and take pride in mastering a specialized skill
- Must reside in or commute reliably within the Durham Region

Compensation
- Full-time, permanent position
