Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gravel Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport gravel and other materials to various job sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on timely deliveries and operational excellence. Must have bush road experience and follow bush road radio protocols.
Duties
- Safely operate gravel trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver materials to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload gravel using appropriate equipment,
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of transported materials
- Conduct minor automotive repairs and troubleshooting to ensure vehicle functionality
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Prior experience operating heavy trucks, preferably in construction or mining environments
- Basic repair skills are a plus for maintaining vehicle performance
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and heavy equipment use
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and unloading materials as required

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
