At EAJ Assistance Services Canada, Inc., you will support Japanese customers experiencing medical or security difficulties while traveling or living overseas. You will act as the vital link between customers in distress and local Canadian/US healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities: A Bridge for International Healthcare
- Empathetic Intake: Listen carefully to customers’ situations in Japanese and provide immediate reassurance.
- English Coordination: Liaise with local hospitals, clinics, and insurance providers in English to arrange appointments and coordinate payment.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside a multicultural team to navigate complex cases from start to finish.
What We are Looking For
- Language Skills: Native-level Japanese (written and verbal) is essential. You must be comfortable using proper Japanese honorific language (Keigo).
- English Proficiency: Business-level English (comfortable with phone and email correspondence).
- Visa Status: Must hold a valid work-eligible visa with at least two (2) years of validity remaining, or be a Permanent Resident (PR).
- Mindset: A strong sense of responsibility, accuracy in data entry, and a customer-first perspective.
- Experience: No industry experience required. Backgrounds in hotels, travel, airlines, or customer service are highly valued.
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Competitive Pay: $22.00–$23.65 per hour.
- Probationary period rate: $18.50–$20.00 per hour.
- Unique Incentives: Weekend and Statutory Holiday shift incentives are provided (exclusive to our Canada operations).
- Stable Hours: Full-time (30–35 hours per week) or Part-time (25–30 hours per week).
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (Occasional shifts until 8:00 p.m. depending on business needs).
