Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to concrete surfaces, ensuring they are smooth, level, and visually appealing. Your expertise in carpentry, masonry, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in performing this role effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning and leveling them
- Set up forms and ensure they are properly aligned
- Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly using hand tools or power tools
- Smooth and finish surfaces using trowels, screeds, or floats
- Apply curing compounds or sealants to protect the concrete
- Repair damaged concrete surfaces as needed
- Operate heavy equipment such as power trowels or grinders for larger projects
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, masonry, and mechanical principles
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
