Over the last 30 years, Harco Developments has become one of Calgary's leading landscape construction contractors. Harco provides the market with high quality landscape construction and maintenance services, building and maintaining parks, playgrounds, storm ponds, sports fields, boulevards, entry features and other green spaces within new communities around Calgary and the surrounding area.
We are actively seeking workers to join our landscape construction team for the 2026 season.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepping for and laying sod
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Raking mulch in beds
- General construction site work
- Cleaning up worksite
- Use of shovels, spades, rakes and other hand tools
- Irrigation work including digging trenches, installation of new systems, repairing damaged heads
Experience and Qualifications:
- Physically fit
- Able to follow direction from a supervisor
- Effective communicator
- Team player
- Successful candidates will have a positive attitude about working hard
- Carry out proper safety procedures and documentation
- You must have a valid drivers license and a vehicle to get to site – transit is not available
Hours are Monday to Saturday, 7:00am - 6:00pm.
We offer industry competitive compensation reflective of the successful candidate's experience. Regular, overtime, and vacation time is paid bi-weekly.
