About the Role
We're looking for a seasoned sales professional who thrives on closing deals and building relationships. You'll manage a pipeline of warm renovation and custom home leads, qualify larger projects alongside our owner, close deals with homeowners and professionals, and develop strategic relationships with architects and designers across the Lower Mainland.
This isn't a coordinator role. You'll have real autonomy, real decision-making authority, and the opportunity to grow alongside a 15-year-old, award-winning construction company scaling its operations.
What You'll Actually Do
- Manage and close warm leads: Meet with homeowners who've already contacted us, run site visits and office consultations, handle discovery calls on mid-market deals ($100K–$300K+), and move projects toward signed contracts.
- Build professional networks: Develop relationships with architects, designers, and contractors across Metro Vancouver. You'll be the point person for relationship nurturing in this space (owner remains strategic).
- Own the sales process: Prepare scopes, communicate between clients and our build team, solve problems on the fly, and ensure exceptional client experience from first meeting through handoff to our project managers.
- Attend industry events and generate leads: Trade shows, networking events, and community engagement to keep the pipeline full.
Who You Are
- 10+ years of high-ticket sales experience (ideally residential construction, renovation, or B2B sales of complex projects). We need someone who's closed $150K–$500K+ deals before.
- Relationship-builder first: You genuinely enjoy meeting people, earning trust, and maintaining professional networks. Cold outreach is part of it, but you're motivated by deepening existing connections.
- Problem solver under pressure: Construction has complications. You stay calm, think creatively, and find solutions that work.
- Self-motivated and organized: You manage your own calendar, follow up consistently, and hit targets without being micromanaged.
- Comfortable with technology: MS Office, CRM platforms, and estimating software (we'll train on our specific tools).
- BC construction knowledge is an asset: Building codes, permit timelines, contractor relationships—bonus if you have this.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for site visits.
Compensation & Structure
- Base salary: $50K–$65K depending on experience
- Commission: Percentage of sales on deals you close (top performers earning $100K–$130K+ annually)
- Annual sales target: $3M (achievable with a solid pipeline and our sales support)
- Full benefits: Extended health care, dental coverage
The Real Talk
- We're not looking for someone to "hustle" 80-hour weeks. This is a 8-5 role with evening/weekend flexibility for client meetings and networking events (normal for high-ticket sales).
- You'll report to Hussain (owner) and collaborate closely with our project managers and deisgners. You're part of a small, tight team.
- We've been doing this for 15 years. We have Georgie Awards, BBB accreditation, Best of Houzz, and Baeumler Approved. If you're motivated by working with a reputable company that wins, this is it.
- We handle the strategy and architect relationships. You handle the lead management and relationship nurturing. Clear roles, clear expectations.
