Zemoz Tile & Stoneworks is a high-end installation and fabrication company working exclusively on Vancouver’s most prestigious custom homes. Our projects involve $10M+ estates, precision slab work, and specialized preparation systems.
We’re a small, elite team — no bureaucracy, no micromanagement — just highly skilled people delivering flawless results for the city’s most demanding clients.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a full-time in-house tradesperson to join our Tile & Stone division. You’ll focus on preparation and slab installation, working alongside our core team.
Key tasks include:
- Preparing and installing shower systems, self-leveling, and dry pack
- Installing Zemoz shower board
- Handling, preparing, and installing stone slabs (often large and heavy)
- Ensuring precision work in luxury custom homes
Note: Tile-setting is handled by another team — this role is strictly in-house prep and slab work.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a skilled trade (tile, stone, carpentry, concrete, finishing, etc.)
- Ability to work independently while delivering precision results
- Comfortable with heavy lifting (150 lbs+) and physically demanding work — including long days when projects require it
- Strong construction mindset: problem-solving, detail-oriented, quality-driven
- Not “green” — must be able to integrate into the workflow early on
We welcome skilled tradespeople from all backgrounds. If you’ve mastered high-skill construction and want to specialize in high-end tile and stone, we’ll provide the training you need.
COMPENSATION & PERKS
- $35–$45/hr starting wage, depending on experience
- Overtime pay
- Weekly performance bonuses ($200–$300) when targets are hit
