Position Overview:
We are seeking a Barista who has a genuine love for coffee to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a specialty coffee shop and a passion for hospitality. Full training on our processes and approach will be provided, and this role offers the opportunity to work with world-class coffee equipment. This is a fully cross-trained position that involves working across all shifts and roles, including opening and closing the store, as well as supporting kitchen operations by prepping and preparing our brunch menu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee Preparation: Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso beverages with attention to detail and customer preferences.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
- Food Prep and Service: Assist with food preparation and service, supporting our brunch offerings as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure coffee equipment is clean and maintained for optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Previous barista experience in a specialty coffee shop is required.
- Experience with food prep and hospitality is preferred.
- Availability on weekends is a must.
- Food Handlers certification is an asset.
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
