Weston Manufacturing Ltd. is a family-owned structural steel fabrication company based in Fort Macleod, Alberta. We operate out of a modern, fully equipped facility and build large-scale steel structures. We take quality seriously and we're looking for a certified Journeyman Welder who does too.
We are hiring for both shifts
We have openings on both our morning and evening shifts. When you apply, you'll indicate which shift works best for you — and that's the shift you stay on. No rotation.
Morning shift = Monday–Friday · 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Evening shift +$2.00/hr = Monday–Thursday · 2:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
What you'll be doing
- Metal Core and Flux core welding on structural steel assemblies
- Reading and interpreting structural drawings and welding symbols
- Maintaining weld quality to CWB and shop standards
- Working alongside other journeymen in a production fabrication environment
What we're looking for
- Red Seal or CWB-certified Journeyman Welder
- Experience with MIG/FCAW in a structural or heavy fabrication environment
- Comfortable reading structural drawings and welding symbols
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in their work
- Ability to commute to or relocate to Fort Macleod, AB
Preferred (not required)
- Experience specifically in large-scale structural steel fabrication
- Additional CWB qualifications beyond Red Seal
- Fit-up or layout experience

Schedule
