We are seeking a talented and personable Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. The Hairdresser will be responsible for providing professional hair services, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and promoting retail products to enhance client satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling based on client preferences.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
- Upsell retail hair care products to clients to support their ongoing hair health and styling needs.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments.
- Assist with retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and current promotions.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication skills and personalized service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barber with a portfolio of diverse styles.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
- Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to upsell retail products in a professional manner that enhances client satisfaction.
- Experience managing front desk duties including appointment scheduling and retail sales is preferred.
- Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
