Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
Maintain and repair high-speed packaging machinery, pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and automated production equipment.
Install, align, and commission new machinery and production lines.
Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and workplace safety standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders using a CMMS system.
Participate in equipment upgrades, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
Valid Millwright (433A) License, Red Seal Certification, or equivalent Journeyperson designation.
3+ years of maintenance experience in a food processing, beverage, packaging, or manufacturing environment.
Experience with high-speed packaging equipment, conveyors, fillers, labelers, palletizers, and automated production systems.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, power transmission, and welding/fabrication.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
