On Guard Security is seeking to hire an ambitious, driven and competitive Salesmen with proven outreach strategies. Our office is located in Surrey and our customers are located all over the lower mainland and surrounding areas.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, honest, responsible and who is dedicated to sales and customer service. Someone that has there there own sales system in place on how to get contracts for security guard services as no sales training will be provided
The main goal of the job is to get the company new business contracts. The more contracts you bring the more commission you will be paid.
On Guard Security provides security guard services. Your job will be to go interact and engage with business owners or anyone that needs a security guards to protect there business, home, construction site, truck yard, event, industrial yards etc...
Job Duties/Tasks
- Selling services in order to increase profitability
- Looking for potential new clients
- Sending Estimates ( Using BCbid and other bidding sites)
- explaining the benefits of security services
- servicing existing clients
- managing client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
- working closely with operations and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction
- assisting customers with complaints or inquiries related to services
- achieving weekly, quarterly, monthly, and annual volume and margin sales targets.
- Developing strong relationships with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty.
- Drafting contracts and overseeing all purchase agreements
- managing pricing and sales data, as well as activity reports
- conducting post-sale follow ups in order to assess and assist customers with any problem or inquiry they may have.
- Performing various administrative duties,
- Staying up to date with the latest trends in sales and the field of their product by reading publications and attending conferences and seminaries
- monitoring market fluctuations, tendencies, and trends as well as following competitor’s activity.
- Communicating with social media manager to grow companies online presence
Knowledge & Requirements:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining profitable customer relationships.
- Consultations, managing the customer database and numerous sales and marketing projects.
- Process orders, quotations and payments daily while also providing in-depth analysis and reports.
- Working closely with clients to make sure there needs are being met
- Create sales proposals.
- Good at negotiating.
- Know how to RPF Bid on Security proposals on BC bid and other Bidding sites
- Use efficient time management, organizational and task completion skills.
- Work independently as well as part of a team to ensure a positive customer experience.
Other Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in an office environment with customer service experience and sales
- Goal oriented / goal exceeder.
- Must have Outside Sales Experience
- Relationship builder.
- Previous experience in the Security industry (preferred but not required)
- Must speak English.
This job you can work from home but you will need to go out and visit business owners and set meetings to lock up the contracts.
This job is paid by commission or salary. The larger the contract the higher the percentage commission will be paid.
