Caisson Consultant Inc. is a foundation drilling equipment supplier specializing in new and used piling, anchor, tieback, compressors and limited access machines. We offer technical support, rentals, sales, RPO's, tooling and wear parts.
This is a fast-paced, team-oriented branch that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely to load and unload trucks
- Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring proper organization for easy access and inventory control
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy of shipment
- Pack, seal and label materials to prepare for shipping
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and/or standards and complete appropriate documentation as required
- Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, labels, and customs paperwork as needed
- May contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
- Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures, and regulatory compliance procedures
- Maintain shipping and receiving area and shop by ensuring a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Deliveries and pick ups to local clients and vendors
- Receive and put away goods received
- Other duties as assigned
Key Qualifications:
- Must be punctual with an 8.30 AM start time
- High School Diploma
- Certified lift truck operator
- 5 years’ experience in a a similar role
- Safety training
- Must be fluent in English
- Valid G class driver’s license with clean abstract
- Forklift license
