Typical Day
- You’ll contribute to the overall efficiency of the business by ensuring that stock is organized and that the back stock and warehouse areas are clean and tidy.
- You’ll pick, pack and ship orders paying particular attention to the fine details that make for the most exceptional customer experience when opening their packages.
- You’ll communicate with customers via phone, email, and live chat to answer questions and offer solutions to ensure a seamless web store experience.
- You will utilize Inventory Management System to locate and fulfil orders being shipped from other Skiis & Biikes location.
- Some data entry, front end website maintenance, product PDP creation and image editing will be part of each week.
- Support teammates with receiving the newest products, checking in and putting away stock
Ideal Candidate
- React quickly to fulfilling new orders for both shipping and customer in-store pickups
- Identify and report opportunities to continuously improve the online experience for Skiis & Biikes customers
- You’re keen to learn about new technologies and the latest trends in skiing and snowboarding.
- You’re confident speaking to a variety of different people, both over the phone and in written communications. We can teach you what to say, but you have to be comfortable chatting with strangers.
- You care about your teammates and your customers. You’re always looking to listen and contribute, even when the task isn’t easy or doesn’t come naturally to you.
- You're motivated by systems, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce including retail business and fulfilment considered an asset
- Ski and Snowboard knowledge is an asset
- Comfortable in a ever-changing, start-up-like atmosphere including the ability to quickly learn new computing software
- Proven organization skills and ability to produce accurate and detail-oriented work
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
- Comfortable with lifting boxes and repetitive tasks
