General Labour – Waste Management (MRF Facility)
Location: North York – Arrow Road
Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

- Full‑time, 40 hours per week
About the Role
We are hiring General Labourers to support operations at a high‑volume Material Recovery Facility (MRF). This role involves hands‑on work in a fast‑paced waste management environment, contributing to recycling and material processing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform grounds cleaning and maintain site cleanliness
- Sort recyclable materials on the line
- Clean screens and equipment as part of routine maintenance
- Pick and separate bales and materials
- Assist with general housekeeping and operational support
Requirements
- Ability to work safely in an industrial waste management environment
- Comfortable with physical labour, standing for long periods, and repetitive tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Team‑oriented with strong work ethic
- Previous experience in waste management, recycling, or general labour is an asset
