We are a well-established Addiction Medicine Program expanding to British Columbia. We're seeking a dedicated and self-motivated individual to help build relationships with local community organizations and promote our services in BC.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Community Partner & Outreach Coordinator to support our expansion in British Columbia. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of community partnerships: identifying new partner organizations, onboarding them to host our telemedicine services, and establishing referral networks to connect patients with our providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Onboarding: Lead the setup process to turn community organizations into virtual clinics
- Referral Networking: Conduct outreach to local service providers to establish formal referral pathways, ensuring their clients have access to our medical team.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for community partners, providing ongoing support to ensure the partnership remains effective.
- Field Logistics: Independently manage a travel schedule to visit potential and existing sites across the region.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to leadership on onboarding progress, site performance, and outreach outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in outreach, community engagement, or sales is an asset.
- Understanding of the barriers individuals with addiction face in accessing healthcare.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using Google Suite and/or knowledge of computer systems, including familiarity with use of mobile applications.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including walking and outdoor work in a variety of public locations.
Schedule & Benefits
- Schedule: Part time hours, Monday - Friday, flexible schedule.
- Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement for all work-related travel.
- Work Location: Primarily field-based/on the road, but some opportunity to work from home.
