Whiting Equipment Services Company Ltd. is looking for a Remote Mobile Millwright / Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, to join our team! As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for servicing and maintain railway equipment on customer’s sites. Your day will include planning, trouble shooting and repairing, as well as, preparing necessary service reports for customers. We are looking for people who are interested in a diverse product range. In a typical day, YOU will:
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Whiting’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
- Repair and service and all heavy equipment within the established standards
- Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner
- Maintain excellent customer relations through frequent communication
- Undertake assignments as required in support of customer needs
Must-haves for this role:
- A valid Technician License or any other license relative to this position, following Provincial standards
- Minimum 5 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Service technicians having facial hair, maybe require to be clean shaven for the purpose of correct respirator fit.
- Criminal back ground check mandatory.
Home Base: Calgary, Alberta with possible travel required within Canada
Pay: $44.00-$51.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
