About Oxford House Saskatchewan
Oxford House Saskatchewan is a member-driven organization that provides safe, affordable housing for people who have recently completed addictions treatment and are at risk of homelessness. Having a safe and sober place to call home allows individuals to recover with dignity, confidence, and security. Members who remain in a stable, supportive environment are more likely to sustain long-term sobriety, greatly improving their chances of maintaining recovery.
Position Summary
The Support Services Employee provides direct support to Oxford House Saskatchewan members and ensures that the day-to-day operations of Oxford House residences in Lloydminster are carried out in accordance with organizational policies. This role combines member mentorship, program support, and operational oversight to help foster safe, stable, and recovery-focused homes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Member Support & Recovery Services
- Support the addictions recovery of members living in Oxford House Saskatchewan homes.
- Conduct intake screenings, complete intake documentation, and orientation sessions for new members.
- Provide mentorship and individualized support, including guidance with personal needs, behavior, and peer interactions.
- Assist members with accessing external supports such as Social Assistance and the Food Bank.
- Attend and participate in all House Meetings.
2. Program & Policy Support
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures at each Oxford House in Lloydminster's networks.
- Maintain confidentiality of all member and organizational records.
- Support member integration by assisting with orientation and transition into the house.
- Assist and participate in the training of new staff members.
3. Operational Oversight
- Collect monthly membership dues and ensure timely bank deposits.
- Ensure houses are safe, secure, and operating in an orderly manner.
- Address member relapses, disruptive behavior, non-compliance, and evictions in line with policy.
- Oversee packing and secure storage of belongings following evictions.
- Conduct regular and random drug and alcohol testing.
- Report maintenance and repair needs; assist with minor repairs where possible.
- Protect organizational digital networks by following best practices for password and security management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Monday & Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- On-Call: As scheduled (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Mileage: Use of personal vehicle required; reimbursed at $0.62/km.
- Location: Open to candidates in the Lloydminster , SK area or those willing to relocate only.
- VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Training held in Saskatoon andwill require staying in Saskatoon for up to 3 work weeks, no weekends. Living expenses and salary paid during training.

Reporting Line: Support staff reports directly to the support staff supervisor.
Time: Full Time 37.5 hours per week with additional on call Weekends/Vacations/Holidays (on a 4 week rotation)
Rate: $45,000 per annum (3-month salary increase based on performance)
and $0.62 KM use of personal vehicle.
