As a Senior Manager, Information Systems at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by overseeing and managing all technology-related aspects within the organization, ensuring that technology spend is effectively supporting business operations while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.
You will report to the Chief Financial Office and be accountable for:
- Partnering with company leaders and key influencers to translate business needs into system solutions by analyzing workflows, identifying gaps, and driving continuous process improvements.
- Overseeing and coordinating the work of external IT service providers, ensuring alignment with business priorities and system requirements.
- Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and forms within corporate systems to support data-driven decision-making.
- Providing strategic input on technology initiatives, including infrastructure and software improvements, to support business growth.
- Managing system access, technology assets, and ensuring compliance with data security and regulatory requirements.
- Shepherding the organization in the safe, proper and responsible use of AI technology to increase efficiency while maintaining security.
A successful candidate would be an individual who has:
- A minimum of a post-secondary degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business systems, IT project management, or a related role.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, ERP systems, AI and software tools, with the ability to evaluate and guide technology decisions.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills in managing external vendors and driving system improvements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Working conditions you can expect while performing your role include:
- Office environment, working to deadlines, some high-pressure situations (i.e. system implementations).
- The occasional requirement to work outside of normal work hours to meet deadlines.
