- has extremely high standards for precision mechanical work
- has experience working on all braking systems including hydraulic systems
- has experience in the installation and adjustment of bicycle shifting systems, cable and electronic
- has a knowledge of bicycle parts compatibility
- is able to communicate service advice in a positive, professional manner with service writers and sales staff
- is able suggest clear solutions, in writing and verbally, with fellow staff and customers
- is willing to work weekends
- has 1+ years professional bicycle service experience
Day to day functions include:
- Meticulous completion of bicycle service packages from minor to complete overhaul
- Completing a la-carte bicycle repairs as per West Point service menu
- Inputing work and notes into Work Order System
- Communicate with Service Writers on modifications to work orders
- Final inspection and quality assurance of new bicycles before delivery
Compensation:
- $22+ per hour based on experience and role
- Assembly and Junior Tech roles with no or limited experience start at $20+ per hour
