Canada Summer Job Criteria

Be between 19 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.

Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Reporting to the Manager, Support and Inclusion, the Inclusion Coordinator is responsible for the enhancement and support of inclusion roles through programming facilitation and support, content creation, auditing, and updating of supports and resources.
Major Responsibilities - in this position, you will:

Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate socio-emotional and self-regulation programming for school-age children
-
Provide in-program support for staff
-
Work collaboratively on updating an inclusion audit tool
-
Support with inclusion and environmental audits of program spaces
-
Inventory care plans and other tracking documents
-
Audit and update forms and processes on Teams/OneNote
-
Compile inclusion resources and supports for staff and programs
-
Update resources available for Lending Library
-
Work collaboratively with staff teams to help ensure inclusion goals are being met
Qualification - you bring:
-
3+ years experience working with children with diverse needs
-
University Degree in related field preferred
-
Effective oral and written communication skills including strong business writing skills
-
Computer proficient- Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)

First Aid Certificate required
-
Successful candidate will be required to provide 3 satisfactory references

Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable sector search issued
