We currently have an opportunity for a Repair and Maintenance Manager. You are responsible for the repair and maintenance of high throughput grain handling Systems utilizing both in-house and contract maintenance resources.
Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot, rebuild, repair or replace pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic cylinders, actuators, solenoids, filters, regulators, oilers and gauges, belts, etc.
· Regular preventative maintenance procedures of equipment and basic general housekeeping standards on the plant floor and bin areas
· Advanced welding of either pipe or general fabrication
· Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rules
· Participate in daily health and safety programs including incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiatives
· Regular Maintenance and repair on outdoor equipment like augers, bobcat, etc.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Mechanically inclined with relevant maintenance experience
· Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
· Detail-oriented with demonstrated accuracy
· Millwright ticket is considered an asset
· An agricultural background would be considered an asset
· A valid driver's license is required
· Basic electrical knowledge required
· Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs unassisted
· Must be capable of climbing bins (no fear of heights)
· Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, or snow
· Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when required; subject to call in for equipment breakdowns
