A new café opening near James St N & Barton St E, Hamilton is looking for a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team!
Requirements (Must Have)
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience (required)
- Passion for coffee, specialty beverages, and customer service
- Ability to recommend flavors, drink customizations, and creative menu pairings
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience taking customer orders and preparing beverages accurately and efficiently
- Friendly, professional, and reliable with excellent communication skills
Assets
- Food Handler Certificate
- Smart Serve Certification
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages
- Take customer orders and process transactions
- Provide menu recommendations and suggest flavor combinations
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Assist with daily café operations, including opening and closing duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
