Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques tailored to client requirements
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism during all sessions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements for licensure renewal
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
- Prior experience providing massage therapy services in a clinical or spa setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions treated through massage therapy is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans, address client concerns, and promote wellness programs
