Magenta Health is growing and seeks to hire again! We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a unique and rewarding role that combines direct patient care, preventive medicine, clinical support, and physician partnership.
Our belief is that great patient care starts with caring clinicians, so we look for individuals who enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life. If you are interested in joining our incredible team, we’d love to hear from you!
About you:
You are a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Ideally, you have experience in primary care, emergency medicine, or another ambulatory clinical setting. Candidates with strong clinical skills and an interest in family medicine are also encouraged to apply.
You are comfortable working independently within your scope of practice while collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. You enjoy a challenge and are excited by a role that combines direct patient care, clinical support and care coordination.
We firmly believe technology and online tools (such as online appointment scheduling and patient messaging) can enhance patient care and streamline the operation of our clinics. As such, proficiency with computers and technology is a must and excellent problem-solving and organizational skills will be highly valued.
This position provides direct support to a Magenta Health physician/group of physicians and their patients. Responsibilities vary from day to day (see details below), making this an ideal opportunity for a flexible, adaptable clinician who enjoys continuous learning and a diverse scope of practice.

- Provide comprehensive primary care under physician supervision and approved medical directives.
- Act as a clinical partner to physicians during patient encounters by documenting visits in real time, facilitating order entry (including prescriptions, referrals, laboratory investigations, and diagnostic imaging), and coordinating follow-up tasks to support efficient, high-quality patient care.
- Perform cervical cancer screening (HPV testing), preventive health assessments and interventions (e.g., well-child visits, periodic health examinations, smoking cessation support, STI testing, and HIV PrEP management), patient education and other approved clinical services.
- Support chronic disease management programs and ongoing preventive care initiatives.
- Review, triage, and summarize incoming clinical correspondence, including laboratory results, diagnostic imaging reports, consultation notes, hospital records, and other patient-related documentation, identifying items requiring physician review, follow-up, or action.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and assist with the tracking and follow-up of investigations, consultations, and patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform nursing procedures within scope of practice, including specimen collection, immunizations, injections, wound care, suture removal etc.
- Other duties as required to support patient care and clinic operations.
