RVA is looking for a Project Manager, Water and Wastewater Pumping Stations and Outstations to join their Water and Land Development team in a full-time permanent position in our newly opened location in Barrie.
Duties:

Project Management of Wastewater, Water and Municipal pumping station projects including scope, schedule, risk and budget.

Providing project engineering and technical expertise, analysis, and design services.

Participating in studies, assessments, preliminary and detailed design, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, tendering and contract administration.

Providing senior review and professional authentication of memos, reports, drawings, and other engineering documents.

Preparing proposals and reports.

Liaising with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, and contractors.

Participating in Business Development initiatives and managing client relationships.

Planning projects, developing accurate scopes of work, cost estimates, project plans, schedules, and deliverables to execute high quality projects on time and on budget.

Working closely with engineers, designers, drafting and support staff.

Mentoring and coaching project teams including technical and field staff.

Other duties as assigned and appropriate for this position.
Qualifications:
-
Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) within the province of Ontario, or eligibility for registration in Ontario.

Project management (PMP) designation considered an asset.
-
8+ years progressive experience in design engineering of sewage pumping stations, booster pumping stations and outstations for municipal and private developer clients.
-
Consulting industry experience and specific experience working with municipalities and private developer clients in Southern Ontario is a strong asset.

Practical knowledge of construction sequencing and constructability.

5 years progressive experience in project management.

Proven capabilities in preparing reports, specifications and tender documents.

Familiarity with construction contracts and administration.

Experienced in meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, business/client development and other skills appropriate to consulting.

Proven, advanced level Excel skills and a proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.

Possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.

Familiar with local design and construction standards and requirements for permits and approvals

Compensation Range
The salary range for this position is: $85,000-$135,000
Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
