Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any concerns observed during the grooming process.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during the grooming experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Assist in lifting larger or heavier pets as needed during the grooming process.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is required
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being is essential.
