Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Northeastern Ontario. The successful candidate will play a vital role in operating heavy machinery to support our production and delivery projects, contributing to our company's mission of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, farm tractor, dozers, loaders and safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials for delivery.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
- Support other operational tasks as needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment.
- Valid commercial driver’s license is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards in construction.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
