SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Role Summary:
Manage assurance, tax, and accounting engagements for local businesses and professionals. Lead client files, provide technical expertise in Canadian and international standards, supervise junior staff, and deliver hands-on business advice.
Key Duties:
- Lead audit, review, and compilation assignments
- Prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust tax returns with CanTax
- Oversee client bookkeeping and financial reporting using QuickBooks Online
- Ensure compliance with ASPE, IFRS, ASNFPO, and current tax laws
- Mentor junior accountants and act as main client contact
- Advise on cash flow, budgeting, and practice improvements
Requirements:
- CPA designation (or nearing completion)
- 3+ years public practice experience
- Proficient in CanTax, QuickBooks Online, CaseWare, Excel, Word
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and IFRS
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with conversational Cantonese or Mandarin
