Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team on Saturdays. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental services, build lasting patient relationships, and contribute to a positive and professional practice environment. Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals with precision and care.
- Utilize dental software such as Epic and Dentrix to document patient records accurately and efficiently.
- Diagnose dental conditions using medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including pediatric patients requiring specialized pediatrics expertise.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient experiences.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and sterilization protocols while managing dental equipment including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for restorative procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Valid dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist in the respective region.
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using dental management software such as Dentrix and Epic for record keeping.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating young patients effectively.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
- Experience with CAD technology used in restorative procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately to patients.
